About Us

I often get asked about how I got started in this, and there isn't really a quick answer. I grew up in a large extended family. I was lucky enough to have my maternal great grand-parents, grandparents and my great-great aunt all living on a few acres of land together that the family jokingly called "The Compound."  And they were only a couple of blocks away from my own home for all of my childhood. My Nana, Grandma Dee and Auntie Clare were the pillars that kept my multi-generational family together.

We would have gatherings for Sunday dinners, birthdays, holidays, pool-cleaning parties and any other random reason we could think of. These could bring anywhere from a handful of people to a ton of cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends from every generation. I never realized it at the time, but those women were able to whip up huge meals in no time - mostly from scratch!

But holiday meals were exceptional. Huge dinners, and sweets galore! But my favorites were always the little bites of cake that were dipped in milk chocolate. While I have now put my own twist on them, with different flavors and types of chocolate, I still make them all by hand, just like they did.

These have been a part of my family long before they became the new rage. It's my hope that you will love them as much as we all did, and share them with your own family and friends.

Enjoy! And don't worry! I am always baking more!

Thank you for you support, I appreciate it!
